A little about me, I have lived in Daventry since moving here in 1968 with Ford motor company.
I have lived on the Headlands, the Grange, Stefen Hill and Staverton I currently live on the Timken estate in Daventry.
I have played football for all the town teams and managed a side from under 10 to under 18.
I was Chairman of Badby Primary School and PTA for three years while my kids were there
I have seen our town grow from a sleepy town of 7000 to what it is now and my drive is to see it continue to develop in a sustainable and controlled manner.
I was also Vice Chairman of Staverton Parish Council with responsibility for neighbourhood plans and successfully raising 12k for new play equipment on the playing field
I’ve since been elected to represent Daventry West Ward on WNC
Duties include licensing for Hackney and taxis as well, as alcohol.
I am the Chair of the joint committee with Rugby Borough Council for the admin of the Rainsbrook Crematorium
I am also a Director of Daventry estates company ltd which is a company that administers rental properties on Middlmore
As I said earlier I have lived in the town a long time hopefully long enough now not to be considered an outsider
I love our town and the way it is progressing and I can only hope that if successful in my application I can help our town grow and prosper in a managed and profitable way for all our residents
