David was originally elected to Daventry District Council in 2014, representing the Weedon Ward. Since May 2021 David has been Ward councillor for the Woodford and Weedon Ward on West Northamptonshire Council. He is currently cabinet member for community safety, and engagement, and regulatory services.
David grew up in Northampton, and has lived in the county for most of his life. He attended Northampton School for Boys and completed his education at Moulton Agricultural College. His career has seen him establish a number of successful companies; these included a vineyard in France, as well as an international security business.
The reason he got involved in local politics is because he really cares about the area he represents. He is keen to continue his community work across all the villages in his ward, and further afield across West Northamptonshire.
