I am currently one of three West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) Councillors representing Moulton Ward, I was elected May 2021 and prior to that I was Moulton Ward Member for Daventry District Council (DDC) having been elected in 2003.
During my time at DDC I was Chair and Vice Chair of the Licensing Committee for 16 years, I was also Portfolio Holder for Housing and Health for 5 years, currently I am Chair of the WNC Licensing Committee, I’ve also served on the Democracy and Standards Committee and the Children, Education and Housing Scrutiny Committee.
I am very passionate about the various villages within the Moulton Ward keeping their village identity and have worked very closely with the Parish Councils to stop them being swallowed up by Northampton Town.
I have concentrated on local issues wherever possible.
I will continue to oppose large scale developments in our villages.
I will continue to support that any developments should have affordable housing to allow our children to buy and stay in the villages they love.
