Today at a meeting of members, Stuart Andrew, was elected as the Parliamentary candidate for the Daventry constituency.
Chris Heaton-Harris, who announced he wouldn't be seeking re-election, said: 'I am delighted that my good friend and former colleague Stuart Andrew has been selected to stand as the Conservative candidate for Daventry. I know he will work incredibly hard for all residents across the constituency and be a strong champion for local causes. He is one of the nicest men I have ever worked with and I know he, if elected, will do a superb job as Daventry’s next Member of Parliament.”
Stuart Andrew was the MP for Pudsey from 2010-2024, however, under the boundary review his seat has been disbanded.
We are looking forward to kicking off the campaign and working hard to ensure that Stuart is elected as our next Conservative MP for Daventry.
