Following the hotly anticipated announcement from Boris that Santa will still be coming to all homes this Christmas, Clive Brown, the Deputy Chairman of Daventry Constituency Conservative Association who is also a Past President member of Danetre Rotary Club is pleased to announce that again this year you will be able to meet the man himself (Santa, not Boris), as he does his annual tour through our villages. Danetre Rotary have, for 55 years, driven Santa round the District of Daventry and raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes.
This year because of COVID-19, it looked as if the sleigh was going to stay in Greenland but Santa got his elves to work and they have put together a plan which allows Santa to tour the district as normal and entertain people in a COVID secure way whilst raising money for local good causes – who need your donations more than ever!
Not only that, Santa has gone high-tech and you can track his location! Follow this link for instructions.

Junior Elf (aka Chris Heaton-Harris MP) worked with Constable Elf (Stephen Mold, aka Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner) and Boss Elf (Richard Auger, aka Daventry District Council Leader) to help Clive in facilitating this great seasonal event and we're delighted to support such a fantastic effort by Santa and his team!
Junior Elf Chris said: “Clive and the team from Danetre Rotary truly illustrate the community spirit in Daventry District and their determination not to cancel this event was wonderful and is in the very best spirit of Danetre Rotary and all it stands for. I’m quite sure these Rotarians will bring more smiles to people’s faces than ever before.”
